Paving Equipment Fleet Expands With Addition Of New Milling Machine
Hudson River Construction is pleased to announce the acquisition of our new Model W2000 Wirtgen Milling Machine. This powerful, high performance machine will enable our crews to remove large areas of highway pavement to a depth of 13-inches in just a single pass leaving a perfectly cut surface that's ready for repaving.
The purchase of the Wirtgen milling machine compliments Hudson River's asphalt mixing plant and existing fleet of road construction and paving equipment and will help customers control costs and stay on schedule.
The W2000 runs on four heavy-duty crawler tracks and, when used on city streets, can be steered right up to flush cut against the curb edge. This feature means more efficient and consistent milling and eliminates the need for expensive reworking.
Driven by a powerful 6-cylinder, 565 HP Caterpillar diesel engine, the W2000 sets new standards ecological acceptability. Significantly reduced exhaust emission levels meet EPA standards while lower fuel consumption and mean fewer milling interruptions and faster completion of every job.
